| | High temperatures at River Creek Campground during the summer are in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. Through the winter the highs are typically in the 40's with temperatures at River Creek Campground dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This campground is so great.
River Creek Campground is located in an area with lots of cool things to do; it is a fun spot for young and old. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at River Creek Campground. A tour to Blue Ridge Parkway is worthwhile, and a great |
place for whitewater paddling is Green River. The caring reception and the fantastically capably controlled facilities have folks coming from far and wide.
River Creek Campground is a wet location that gets a large amount of rain; most of the rain falls throughout March, and
| the driest month of the year is December. Apple Valley Golf Course is a golf course right next door to River Creek Campground; lots of folks from Lake Lure come here. This camp ground is one of the brilliant locations to camp here in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Having a great time in the Blue Ridge Mountains is uncomplicated. You can run the rapids of Broad River in the vicinity of River Creek Campground; swing by Cove Creek it's a pleasant
location to explore.
River Creek Campground is often visited by the folks of Lake Lure. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Lake James State Park is a glorious place; a golf course nearby is Bald Mountain Golf Course. If you don’t have
a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Broad River, and sites like Mount Mitchell State Park are great to visit.
The great pick of local attractions, and the nearby outdoors recreation are perfect reasons to come. If you love the outdoors, you won’t be disappointed; there's fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, and playing golf, so running out of amusing things to do won’t happen.
