Red Gates, Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina   This campground is so splendid. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Big Hungry Creek, and an afternoon playing golf at Highland Lake Golf Club is always a delight. This section of North Carolina is always a delight to go to through camping season. Red Gates is a good site of normal precipitation; March is when you get the most rain here; January is when it's the driest. There's more to do right next door to Red Gates other than just hanging out such as playing golf, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do. The caring folks     working here and the great huge amount of fun activities beat anything. This camp ground is one of the great places to camp here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. There is so much fun stuff to do next to Red Gates; it positively is a fine campground. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Blue Ridge Mountains is peerless! Don't leave Red Gates without going to Jones Gap State Park, and folks from Hendersonville love to come here. Red Gates is esteemed by folks from Hendersonville. When was the last time you went for a weekend of camping? Red Gates in North Carolina is the outdoors at its most excellent. Go for a hike on the Shut-In Trail, and why not a little side tour to Laurel Branch. Through the months of summer here at Red Gates, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures   drop down into the 60's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Red Gates dip into the 20's. Such a fine choice of attractions and the fine variety of outdoors recreation will beyond doubt have you coming back repeatedly. Any time is a nice time at Red Gates if you fancy the outdoors. This campground has so much amusing stuff to offer. Near Red Gates you come across the Side Hill Trail which is a great hiking trail, and Blue Ridge Parkway is one of the destinations that are brilliant to have a look at close by. Cagle Mountain is clearly visible from Red Gates, and golf can be played at Kenmure Country Club. Going for a hike on the Mullinax Trail is always a magnificent adventure; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Green River. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. Pisgah National Forest is a perfect location to go if you're at Red Gates, and Wolf Laurel has magnificent slopes and a friendly staff. This place rules, just explore all the cool things to do close to Red Gates. If you come at the right time of year, Hungry River offers some splendid whitewater, and playing golf is lots of fun at Orchard Trace Golf Club.
