There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Cataloochee Creek; Presley's Campground is close to Riddle Cove which is undeniably worth going to. A campground like this is too perfect to miss. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Presley's Campground; Baxter Creek Trail is a delightful local trail. Lakes are magnificent; Waynesville Reservoir is a lake that's near Presley's Campground. You can run the rapids of Pigeon River close to Presley's Campground; there are perfect locations to look at along the Palmer Creek Trail. Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the enjoyable stuff you can do is playing golf, hiking, swimming, fishing, and whitewater paddling,
