is such a fun spot for a campground. Playmore Beach Campground is near Lake James State Park which is a gorgeous spot; there are plenty of people from Collettsville here.
A visit to North Carolina is not complete without some camping. Playmore Beach Campground mostly gets a
| great deal of rain; the month with most of the rain is May; December is when it's the driest.
There are great locations to explore along the Yancey Ridge Trail, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Wilson Creek. Famous North Carolina kindness and the magnificent facilities attract folks from far and near. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Go for a hike on the Daniel Boone Scout Trail, and since you're here you can play some golf at Country Acres Golf Course.
