New Bern Koa sees pretty high levels of rain; the wettest month of the year is frequently July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is October.
Loads of people stay here to be near Gatlin Beach. There's so many things to do at New Bern Koa including fishing, swimming, and playing golf, so perhaps you want to stay for a while.

campground. On a splendid day it's a great idea to spend the day at Gatlin Beach. Lakes are fine; Old Towne Lake is a lake that's next to New Bern Koa. The pleasant folks working here and the splendor of the place are incentive enough to come here. We all ought to go for a weekend

So much cool stuff to do here at New Bern Koa, too perfect to be true. Goose Creek State Park is a splendid site to go if you're at New Bern Koa. Throughout the months of summer at New Bern Koa highs are commonly in the 80's.
All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 70's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 50's while New Bern Koa nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's. If you're a golfer then a glorious close by course is Fairfield Harbour Golf Club, and a visit to Croatan National Forest revitalizes the soul.
