Summer brings highs in the 70's to Morgan's Mountain Retreat, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while Morgan's Mountain Retreat overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. Don't leave Morgan's Mountain Retreat without visiting New River State Park. This campground is a pleasant site to check out. This is a good neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Appalachian Ski Mountain Lake is a lake close by, and Watauga River is a tremendous whitewater
spot close by. The positive surroundings and the extremely perfectly managed facilities beat anything.
Lots of rainfall falls at Morgan's Mountain Retreat; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most; December on the other hand is the
driest. Morgan's Mountain Retreat is to be found in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The skiing at Appalachian Mountain is wonderful; don't leave Morgan's Mountain Retreat without first going for a hike along the Daniel Boone Scout Trail.
