hiking, playing golf, and whitewater paddling, so running out of entertaining things to do won’t happen. Here at Moonshine Creek there are plenty of folks from Balsam; Keowee-Toxaway State Park is a brilliant site to visit on a pretty day.
That right there is loads already, but it keeps on going; Moonshine Creek has it all. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Baxter Creek Trail, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Tuckasegee River. A wonderful location near Moonshine Creek is Balsam Gap, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Moonshine
 
Creek; Asbury Trail is a magnificent local trail. Camping out indisputably is a fun thing to do, and Moonshine Creek in North Carolina is exactly the location.
Go for a hike on the Caldwell Fork Trail, and you can run the rapids of Scotts Creek. Just can't get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Palmer Creek Trail, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tuckasegee River - West Fork. This is such a fun site for a campground. The sight of picturesque Judaculla Mountain near Moonshine Creek is perfect; do take a hike on the Big Branch Trail. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. The high level of rainfall makes Moonshine Creek a reasonably wet place; during July this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is October.
At Moonshine Creek during the summer highs are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's. Highs throughout the wintertime are typically in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Moonshine Creek.
