is delightful. Going for a hike along the Caldwell Fork Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and since you're here, you might as well pop by Maggot Spring Gap. If you are in North Carolina during camping season, you must go camping.
This campground is
a wonderful location to stop by. Near Meadowbrook Resort you find the Big Branch Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and hey, Indian Creek is a tremendous local stream. Meadowbrook Resort ordinarily gets a lot of precipitation; most of the rain falls all through May, and the driest month is October. Meadowbrook Resort is a great camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Great Smoky Mountains.
