Raven Rock State Park is a fine spot, and Little River is a great whitewater spot close by. Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the entertaining   stuff you can do is fishing, playing golf, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so in all probability you want to stick around for a while. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lake Lynn is close to Lazy Acres, and in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Upper Little River. Cape Fear has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and Hope Mills Golf Course is a golf course close by. Throughout the summer at Lazy Acres highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Lazy Acres are in the 20's.
