  There's magnificent hiking along the Russell Field Trail; Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a very delightful spot to check out. Coming to this campground is always a glorious idea. There are some great whitewater spots on Nantahala River, and Ober Gatlinburg is a very popular ski area close at hand.
Kickstand Lodge is fantastically popular with the people of Almond. You've been indoors for too much time, you need to get out, and Kickstand Lodge in North Carolina is the outdoors at its finest.
There are good locations to explore along the Tsali
    Horse Trail; Cable Gap is also a nice spot to look at. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Great Smoky Mountains will keep you coming back again and again. At Kickstand Lodge you can see Meetinghouse Mountain, and you can go for a hike on the Wesser Creek Trail.

This camp ground is situated in the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Great Smoky Mountains. Don't leave Kickstand Lodge without first going for a hike along the CHoga Trail, and Big Branch is near Kickstand Lodge and is always a bliss to go to. For the duration of the summertime months highs here at Kickstand Lodge reach the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Kickstand Lodge are in the 20's.
