| | Ok, you've been cooped up for too much time, and Humphrey's Ridge Camp is a splendid local campground if you happen to be in North Carolina. Yep, outdoors entertaining things to do are beyond doubt plentiful here at Humphrey's Ridge Camp. Get yourself into a kayak and hit South Mayo River, and Dawn Acres Golf Club is a tremendous golf course close by. The perfect variety of local attractions and such a perfect variety of outdoors recreation are wonderful reasons to come.

of year, Mayo River - North Fork offers some great whitewater, and do go to Lower Merchants Lake, it's a beautiful lake.
Hanging Rock State Park is a glorious site to take a look at on a gorgeous day, and the Cascade Trail is a great hiking trail close by. This campground has
| so much exciting stuff to offer. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Pine Knolls Golf Course is close at hand, and close by you find the Moores Knob Trail which is a glorious hiking trail.
There is so much cool stuff in the vicinity of Humphrey's Ridge Camp, and if you're trying to locate a splendid place to go for a weekend of camping, this is a wonderful pick. There is a delightful hiking trail near Humphrey's Ridge Camp called the Cooks Wall Trail, and you're sure to run into some fine folks from Stokesdale here.

day at Humphrey's Ridge Camp you can take a hike along the Hanging Rock Trail, and get dripping wet paddling on Dan River.
Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the exciting stuff you can do is swimming, fishing, playing golf, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so perhaps
you want to stick around. For the period of the summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Humphrey's Ridge Camp, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Humphrey's Ridge Camp. If
you come to this campground, you will have a pleasant time for sure. Enjoy a round of golf at Riverview Golf Course not far from Humphrey's Ridge Camp, and Fairy Stone State Park is both pleasant and charming.
Humphrey's Ridge Camp commonly gets a large amount of rainfall;
the wettest month of the year is generally July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. The workforce that operates this campground and the ably run operations are a perfect draw for a lot of people.
