Hitching Post Campground, Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina Amenities AMENITIES Tent camping is available - 30 sites. All tent sites have water, electricity, a picnic table and a fire ring. RV hookups are available - Full service:  water, electric, sewage, picnic table and fire ring.  3 - 50 amp sites, 22 - 30 amp sites open year round. Pets are allowed - Must be on a leash at all times. Can not be left in the campground unattended. The owners of aggressive or nuisance animals will be asked to leave. Campfires are allowed - We have metal fire rings on every site.  We also sell firewood. Has Store - We have a small camp store on site. Grocery store nearby - The Ingles grocery store is less than 1 mile away. No pool - We do have a fishing pond. Game Room
