| a little visit to Farmer Branch while you're here. Hemphill Mountain Campground gets a lot of water; the wettest month of the year is generally July, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is October.
This camp ground is to be found in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. Such a tremendous selection of attractions and such a large number of things to do are sure to keep you coming back many times.

and get yourself into a kayak and hit Pigeon River - West Fork. If you come to this campground, you will have a great time for sure. There are magnificent sites to look at along the Asbury Trail, and skiing at Cataloochee is one of those things you just have to do.
