along the Mount Rogers Spur. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Greenfield Campground. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while Greenfield Campground overnight low temperatures during
the wintertime are in the 20's. Greenfield Campground is a very popular campground among the people from West Jefferson. Yep, outdoors cool stuff truly is bountiful here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Mount Jefferson State Park is a tremendous site; the Sugar Maple Trail offers hiking
at its best. Greenfield Campground sees pretty high levels of precipitation; through July this area sees the most rain, and November is the month with the least moisture.
