| | Our Campground has 9 small cabins that have a toilet,sink,small frig,coffee pot,microwave, queen size bed and a set of bunks,. Linens are provided.
We have 3 deluxe cabins that offer queen size bed and two twins in the loft. They have full kitchen, full bath. All linens and dishes are provided.
We have non electric and water tent sites.
We have electric and water tent sites.
We have 30 and 50 amp services. Pull-thru or back in.
We have a game room and brand new swimming pool.
We are now serving Blue Bell ice |

We have a new play ground with monkey bars and tube slide, horse shoes and volley ball.
We have singings on the weekends with pot luck dinners.

You can take a little trip to Homer Burgess Dam if you're here at Ft wilderness Campground. If you come to this campground, you will have a pleasant time for sure. You beyond doubt should stop at Nantahala National Forest if you're here at Ft wilderness Campground, and going for a hike along the Tsali Horse Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. | |

and nearby you locate the Messer Trail which is a great hiking trail. On a wonderful day at Ft wilderness Campground you can take a hike along the Caldwell Fork Trail, and glorious skiing awaits you at Cataloochee. This campground has so many enjoyable things to offer. Great Smoky
Mountains National Park is a brilliant local destination here at Ft wilderness Campground, and there are plenty of people from Cherokee here at Ft wilderness Campground.
The warmest time of the year at Ft wilderness Campground arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with
night lows in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Ft wilderness Campground fall into the 20's. Ft wilderness Campground gets lots of water; during July this area sees the most rain; the driest of
the months is October. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Great Smoky Mountains. There's whitewater on Oconaluftee River for all you adrenaline people, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Palmer Creek Trail.
That right there is loads of exciting things already but it goes on, the Great Smoky Mountains has it all. You might want to pay a visit to Lewis Cove since you're here at Ft wilderness Campground, and get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Tuckasegee River.
