Paddling on Watauga River is so much fun; there's nice hiking along the Daniel Boone Scout Trail. Coming to this campground is always a great idea. Lake James State Park is a lovely location any time of year, and get dripping wet paddling on Boone Fork. So many local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation will make you glad you came.
