Hawksnest is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood, and a journey to Roan Mountain State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. North Carolina is a tremendous place for campers.

Hiking along the Daniel Boone Scout Trail is tremendous fun, and you undeniably should check out Lake James State Park while you're here. All the magnificent local attractions close by and the magnificent variety of outdoors recreation will make you delighted you came.

for a hike along the Yancey Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. When was the last occasion you went for a weekend of camping?
