Country woods, Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina Custom Search   Country woods is often visited by the people of Franklin. Lots of people stay at Country woods for the purpose of being in close proximity to Nantahala National Forest. Through the summertime at Country woods highs are generally in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Country woods are in the 20's. So much cool stuff close to Country woods, completely mind-boggling. While you're here at Country woods you can take a hike along the Stewart Trail, and tremendous     skiing awaits you at Scaly Mountain. Coming to this campground is always a good idea. Don't leave Country woods without dropping by Black Rock Mountain State Park, and while you're here you can play some golf at Franklin Golf Course. Everybody must go camping for a couple of days occasionally, and Country woods, North Carolina is a delightful location for getting out. As if Country woods wasn't enough, you can also go playing golf, fishing, whitewater paddling, hiking, and swimming, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Rufus Morgan Trail is a pleasant hiking trail close to Country woods, and you can run the rapids of Cullasaja River. As long as you go for the outdoors you will go for North Carolina. Country woods is a pleasant   camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Blue Ridge Mountains. Much rainfall falls at Country woods; March is when you get the most rain here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There are so many entertaining things close to Country woods, and what a delightful location for camping it is. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Cullasaja River, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Rartram Trail. So much cool stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just amazing. This campground is so pretty. Going for a hike along the Gage Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; you get a glorious panorama of Sanders Knob from here. The people who take care of the campground and the tremendous quality of everything here are in themselves reason enough to come here. Country woods is not far at all from Franklin, and Nantahala National Forest is a magnificent place to go. All year is a good time in the Blue Ridge Mountains if you love the outdoors. There's whitewater on Cartoogechaye River for all you adrenaline people, and there's always Grant Dam to go to near Country woods. On a delightful day at Country woods you can take a hike along the Hurricane Creek Trail. Lakes are nice; Grant Lake is a lake that's close to Country woods. Yep, outdoors amusing things to do are really bountiful here at Country woods. Enjoy a round of golf at Mill Creek Country Club not far from Country woods, and some of the water nearby flows, like Satser Branch.
