around Country woods; Rartram Trail is a fine local trail. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Country woods. Going for a hike on the Gage Trail is always a good adventure, and when you're here it's always fun to go to Nantahala National Forest. In North

Take a little tour to Satser Branch while you're here at Country woods, and paddling on Cullasaja River is so much fun. As if Country woods wasn't enough, you can also go whitewater paddling, hiking, and playing golf, so you
won’t get bored. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Country woods. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's; overnight lows at Country woods through the winter generally dip into the 20's.
Country woods is a nice
camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Blue Ridge Mountains. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Country woods. Grant Dam is striking and it's near Country woods. Country woods is a campground reasonably frequently visited by
the people of Franklin.
This place, the Blue Ridge Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining things. Good hiking is available along the Hurricane Creek Trail; whitewater paddling is good on Cartoogechaye River.
