Get dripping wet paddling on Catawba River, and everybody close by loves skiing at Wolf Ridge. This campground is a delightful location to visit. A quick journey to Mill Creek in the vicinity of Catawba Falls Campground
| is a splendid idea, and since you're here, you could also have a look at striking Camp Ridgecrest Lake. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains. A tremendous location like Mount Mitchell State Park in close proximity to Catawba Falls Campground is too great to leave out, and a fine place nearby is Padgett Cove. All our national parks are great places to pop by, and Blue Ridge Parkway is no exception, and a trip to Lake James State Park is a wonderful idea.

is Old Fort Golf Course. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Catawba Falls Campground. Don't leave Catawba Falls Campground without first going for a hike along the Bald Mountain Trail, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Curtis Creek.
