If you come to this campground, you will have a glorious time for sure. A trip to Mount Jefferson State Park when you're here at Boone Koa is never a bad idea, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Thunderhole Creek. for a hike on the Daniel Boone Scout Trail is always a good adventure; a lake nearby is Appalachian Ski Mountain Lake. So much cool stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains, not enough time. Enjoy a round of golf at Boone Golf Club not far from Boone Koa, and there's whitewater
on Watauga River for all you thrill seekers. The great local attractions and the great variety of outdoors recreation will beyond doubt have you coming back over and over. As if Boone Koa wasn't enough, you can also go hiking, whitewater paddling, swimming, playing golf, and
fishing, so you won’t get bored. There are so many fun things close to Boone Koa, and when you have spent some time here you will feel like another person.
