| Mountains. There is a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of White Birches called the Willow Trail; an afternoon playing golf at Windham Country Club is always a diversion. Near White Birches you stumble on the Phoenicia Trail which is a great hiking trail, and Windham Mountain is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. This campground is so good. to offer. There are some glorious whitewater spots on West Kill River. High temperatures at White Birches during the warm months are in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for White Birches tend to be in the 0's.
