Wellesley Island State Park, New York   Had a great time at the Minna Anthony Common Nature Center, located in the park. Staff was terrific, great with kids. There's such a large number of things to do at Wellesley Island State Park including playing golf, and whitewater paddling, so there's no way to get bored. You need to get out, and Wellesley Island State Park in New York is the outdoors at its most excellent. This is such a pretty campground. While you're here at Wellesley Island State Park you will meet lots of people from close by Wellesley Island, and a spree here wouldn’t be complete without a tour to nearby Canoe-Picnic   Point State Park. So many exciting things close to Wellesley Island State Park, and campgrounds like these are pleasant. The splendid local attractions and such a splendid variety of outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. You can run the rapids of Black River in close proximity to Wellesley Island State Park, and on a fine day you can explore Whitehouse Marsh, a swamp near Wellesley Island State Park. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like LA Golf Club, and you can never get enough of the great skiing at Dry Hill.
