Mine Kill State Park is a tremendous site, and paddling on West Kill River is so much fun. Scores of folks stay at this campground so they can go to Max   V. Shaul State Park. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll fancy Twin Oaks. Outdoors folks generally adore this sector of New York. Places like Max V. Shaul State Park are great to visit, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Fox Creek. At Twin Oaks all through the summer months highs are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Twin Oaks temperatures dip to the 10's.
