You can run the rapids of Ten Mile River close to Sylvan Lake Beach Park;   Branton Woods Golf Club is a golf course nearby. A splendid place for whitewater paddling next to Sylvan Lake Beach Park is Tenmile, and a visit to Clarence Fahnestock State Park is a glorious idea.
