Have a great hiking adventure along the Island Farm Nature Trail; Ausable River is a good whitewater spot nearby. And if that's not enough there's loads more enjoyable stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Saranac River, and do take a hike on the North Shore Trail. |
A lot of people camp here to be in the neighborhood of Cumberland Bay State Park. The friendly environment and all the amusing stuff are in themselves incentive enough to come here.

Snug Harbor Marina is right by the Southern Tip Trail. A lot of fun is at this campground. Don't forget to visit Day Point if you're here at Snug Harbor Marina, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Salmon River. Snug Harbor Marina gets a common amount of annual precipitation;
the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
The great local attractions and such a great deal of things to do are nice incentives to come. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. Here at Snug Harbor Marina
you'll probably meet some folks from Plattsburgh; places like Cumberland Bay State Park are great to check out. There's plenty of outdoors recreation available in close proximity such as playing golf, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so there's no way to get bored.

Shoal is a wonderful place to spend some time at. Snug Harbor Marina truly is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. The West Shore Trail offers hiking at its best, and Point Au Roche State Park is a fine place to stop at. This sector of New York is always a delight to explore all through camping season.
