    local attractions around here and all the outdoors recreation are guaranteed to keep you coming back over and over. On Schroon River close by you come upon the 5-mile-in-length North Hudson bridge to Schroon Falls section of grade
 II whitewater. Generally this run of Schroon River is not a demanding spot for whitewater kayaking or rafting. Don't go whitewater kayaking or rafting ahead of first checking current conditions; it's risky matter. Button Bay Camel's Hump State Park is both tremendous and gorgeous, and it's near Shearer's Riverside Campsite; if by chance you feel like getting out on the water, Schroon Lake Marina is around here. Man, is there lots of entertaining things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. The Long Swing Trail offers hiking at its best, and there are plenty of people from Schroon Lake here. This campground is a beautiful site to have a look at. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing  
at nearby Gore Mountain. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Town Of Schroon - Golf Club is in the neighborhood.
