Everybody loves Minnewaska State Park Preserve; the top of Sheridan Mountain is easily spotted from Romer Mountain Park. This is such a fun spot for a campground. Paddling on Stony Clove Creek is so much fun; there's great hiking along the Vernooy Falls Trail.
Esopus Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and there is a magnificent hiking trail nearby called the Phoenicia Trail. People from Chichester love to come to Romer
    Mountain Park, and pleasant hiking is available along the Kanape Jeep Trail. At Romer Mountain Park all through the summertime months highs are in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and
after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Romer Mountain Park sink into the 0's.
Yep, outdoors fun stuff truly is abundant here in the Catskill Mountains. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Woodland Creek; some close by water includes Woodland Creek. The pleasant people working here and the great quantity of fun stuff to do will make you feel good.

If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Catskill Mountains. Mine Kill State Park is a splendid location to go if you're at Romer Mountain Park, and going for a hike on the Willow Trail is always a wonderful adventure.
Romer Mountain Park is a great camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Catskill Mountains. There's such a vast number of things to do at Romer Mountain Park including hiking, fishing, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so possibly you want to stay a while.
You completely must go for Romer Mountain Park. Nearby lakes? Sure, Winnisook Lake is near Romer Mountain Park, and you can go for a hike on the Spruceton Trail. Romer Mountain Park is extremely well loved by people in Chichester. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up.
