  So many local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will make you delighted you came. Woodland Creek is a good local stream; there are wonderful spots to discover along the Phoenicia Trail. A campground like this is too delightful to miss. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Hunter Mountain, and when you're here it's always fun to stop by Mine Kill State Park.
Romer Mountain Park gets a normal amount of annual rain; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; February on the other hand is the driest.
    Romer Mountain Park is a very well prized campground by visitors from Chichester. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Romer Mountain Park; Vernooy Falls Trail is a great local trail.

Mountain Park in New York is precisely what you need. So many amusing things next to Romer Mountain Park; if you're searching for a great location to go camping for a couple of days, this is a perfect pick. New York has a lot of outdoors activities.
This campground is so delightful. There are plenty of people from Chichester here at Romer Mountain Park, and nice hiking is available along the Spruceton Trail. Among the things you can do near Romer Mountain Park are hiking, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
 
If you come at the right time of year, Woodland Creek offers some glorious whitewater, and there's good hiking along the Kanape Jeep Trail.
You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Sheridan Mountain is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Romer Mountain Park; there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Esopus Creek. Having a wonderful time in the Catskill Mountains is painless. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Stony Clove Creek, and don't leave Romer Mountain Park without first going for a hike along the Willow Trail.
But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Catskill Mountains. Woodland Valley is a fine place to stop by close by, and Minnewaska State Park Preserve is both nice and charming. Through the months of summer at Romer Mountain Park temperatures are regularly in the 70's, and the overnight is quite chillier of course, frequently in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 20's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Romer Mountain Park temperatures plunge to the 0's. The friendly surroundings and a lot of fun stuff to do are rather amazing.
