The people who watch over the campground and the extremely perfectly run facilities are in themselves reason enough to come here. Near Romer Mountain Park you stumble on the Vernooy Falls Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Woodland Creek. This section of New York is always a diversion to visit through camping season. If the weather is splendid here at Romer Mountain Park, you can go for a hike along the Spruceton Trail; Minnewaska State Park Preserve is both fine and delightful. The surroundings of this campground have such a great deal of things to offer. Gotta ski! Hunter Mountain is a great spot to do that, and if you come at the right time of year, Esopus Creek offers some fine whitewater. Yeah, come up here to the Catskill Mountains for a fine time. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Woodland Creek; a nice sight of scenic Sheridan Mountain is available. Alright, time for a camping trip, don't you agree?
