This part of Beaver Kill River is not a place       where beginners should come raft paddling. You ought to check circumstances ahead of going; raft paddling could get hazardous. Lake Taghkanic State Park is a great place to pop by on a pretty day; if by chance you want to go for a   ride on a horse Bailiwick Ranch is in the vicinity. And if that's not enough there's a lot more fun things to do in the Catskill Mountains. Go for a hike on the Phoenicia Trail, and take a visit to nearby Rough Riders Ranch and ride a horse. This campground is always a pleasure. Loosen up with a great game of mini golf at nearby Puttin PLUS.
