River View Campground, Adirondack Mountains, New York   I have been a seasonal camper at Riverview for 3 years. I would never think of leaving. It Is a quiet friendly place to relax and watch the river flow by. It Is the cleanest campground I have ever camped at. It's so convient for shopping,Weather you like the shops In Lake George or the outlets,You can be there In 15 mins. Then come back to camp for a nice relaxing night by the fire. The smiling people of Lake George like to hang out nearby;     the slopes of West Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist. From a rain point of view River View Campground is a quite typical site; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Adirondack Mountains. Plum Point is not far from River View Campground at all, and you can catch a sight of French Mountain from River View Campground. This campground is so beautiful. Get wet paddling on Schroon River, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Top of the World Golf Course is nearby. Loads of folks camp here when they come to stop by Moreau Lake State Park. All year is a pleasant time in the Adirondack Mountains if you adore the outdoors. Moreau Lake State Park is a perfect place to stretch your legs   a bit, and going for a hike along the Spectacle Pond Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. English Brook is in the vicinity of River View Campground and is always a delight to go to, and there are other places here than River View Campground, for example Bear Pond. There's a load of outdoors recreation available in the vicinity such as playing golf, hiking, fishing, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so there's no way to get bored. Through the summertime at River View Campground highs are typically in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are typically in the 20's; night lows in the 0's for River View Campground. This segment of New York is always a bliss to take a look at during camping season. Places like Saratoga Spa State Park are glorious to visit; if you're a golfer then a brilliant close by course is Sunnyside Par Golf Course. River View Campground is to be found in the Adirondack Mountains. This site is peerless, just explore all the fun stuff to do in close proximity to River View Campground. Float down the rapids of Hudson River in a kayak, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Queensbury C C Golf Course. We all need to go for a weekend of camping occasionally, and River View Campground, New York is a great place for getting out.
