whitewater; you'll meet a lot of people from Saranac Lake here. Go for a hike on the Hopkins Trail. Pioneer Village gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; the wettest month of the year is mostly August, that's the one that rains the most; February on the other hand is the driest.
| The tremendous selection of local attractions, and the close by outdoors recreation are great reasons to come. As if Pioneer Village wasn't sufficient, you can also go hiking, playing golf, whitewater paddling, fishing, and swimming, so almost certainly you want to stay a while. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Adirondack Mountains. Going for a hike on the Van Hoevenberg Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Cold River. in the Adirondack Mountains. Some of the water nearby flows, like Little Ray Brook, and nearby you discover the Schwartz Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. At Pioneer Village through the days of summer highs are in the 70's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's.
The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Pioneer Village temperatures descend to the 0's. What would winter be without some skiing at Mount Pisgah, and soar down the rapids of Ausable River - West Branch in a kayak. At this campground
you will always have a wonderful time. On a wonderful day at Pioneer Village you can take a hike along the McKenzie Pond Trail, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Saranac Lake Golf Club is in the neighborhood. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place!
Pioneer Village is unbeatable! You're possibly interested in lakes, Lake Flower is one of those close by, and the panorama of Scarface Mountain is lovely. The personnel that operates this campground and the fine wealth of fun activities beat anything.
