Pioneer Trails, Catskill Mountains, New York   The caring people working here and the nicely looked after facilities attract folks from far and wide. Pioneer Trails is an old favorite with the residents of Hamden. There are so many exciting things near Pioneer Trails; if you're seeking a wonderful place to go for a camping trip, this is a wonderful choice. The brilliant choice of local attractions, and such a vast number of things to do are certain to keep you coming back time and again. Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the entertaining stuff you can do is playing golf, and whitewater     paddling, so you won’t run out of things to do. Pioneer Trails is a nice camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Catskill Mountains. Bagley Brook is near Pioneer Trails and is always a delight to pop by; Covert Hollow is beyond doubt a great place to take a look at. Pioneer Trails gets lots of water; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Camping in New York is such an enjoyable thing to do. But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the Catskill Mountains. Here at Pioneer Trails there are plenty of folks from Hamden, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Treadwell Creek. There's whitewater on Beaver Kill River for all you adrenaline kick people, and unsurprisingly, everyone loves Lake Superior State Park. Not enough hours in a day to   enjoy the Catskill Mountains. Throughout the days of summer here at Pioneer Trails, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; during the dark hours in the winter at Pioneer Trails temperatures plunge to the 10's. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Pioneer Trails is great! You can run the rapids of Tremper Kill River right next door to Pioneer Trails; a trip to Gilbert Lake State Park rejuvenates the soul. If you come to this campground, you will have a magnificent time for sure. A round of golf at nearby Delhi College Golf Course is a wonderful way to kill some time, and great skiing awaits you at Ski Plattekill.
