It is a very quite place and the owners a very nice people. This place is well kept and clean. Close to all resorts for sight seeing. We camp there every summer. Says Ken Rabidue Shady Oaks RV Park is a very popular old favorite campground among people of Plattsburgh. There's great hiking along the     West Shore Trail, and Shady Oaks RV Park is not far at all from Plattsburgh. Throughout the warmest time of the year highs here at Shady Oaks RV Park get into the 70's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows all through the winter for Shady Oaks RV Park tend to be in the 0's. This campground has so many enjoyable things to offer. A great location to pop by close to Shady Oaks RV Park is Gunboat Rock; obviously Ray Brook flows through this area. So many enjoyable things in the Adirondack Mountains, just tremendous. Get dripping wet paddling on Saranac River; popping by Point Au Roche State Park is a good thing to do. If you come to this campground, you will have a magnificent time for sure. Take a hike on the Island Farm Nature Trail. Get yourself   into a kayak and hit Ausable River; the Southern Tip Trail offers hiking at its best. Some of the things you can do here at Shady Oaks RV Park are whitewater paddling, and hiking, so it's not possible to get bored. Shady Oaks RV Park is situated in an area with scores of entertaining stuff to do, and it's always fun to be at this place. Lots of people stay at this campground to be in the vicinity of Cumberland Bay State Park. And that's not all you can do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Whitewater paddling is great on Salmon River, and a journey to Cumberland Bay State Park is a delightful idea. The fine local attractions and the fine variety of outdoors recreation are splendid reasons to come. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always pretty. Everybody should go for a camping trip now and then, and Shady Oaks RV Park in New York is just the place. Shady Oaks RV Park is a good place of common rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. Shady Oaks RV Park in fact is in the middle of a stunning outdoors paradise. Why not take a refreshing hike along the North Shore Trail, and you are near Cumberland Bay while you're here. New York is a great outdoors state.
