in New York is a great place to go. Nickerson Park Campground is frequently visited by campers from Grand Gorge. This site, the Catskill Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting things. You'll meet a lot of people from Grand Gorge here, and Bornt Hill is clearly visible from Nickerson

Going for a hike on the Spruceton Trail is always a tremendous adventure; Ski Plattekill is a very popular ski area close by. During the warmest time of the year here at Nickerson Park Campground, high temperatures generally get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Nickerson Park Campground. So many local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are splendid causes to come.

you won’t be saddened; there's hiking, and whitewater paddling, so running out of fun stuff to do won’t happen. Glide down the rapids of Bear Kill River in a kayak, and locations like Max V. Shaul State Park are wonderful to visit.
Lots of people stay at this campground in
order to be in close proximity to Mine Kill State Park. All the water falling down from the sky makes Nickerson Park Campground a wet place; June is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. All the happy folks and all the
cool stuff are in themselves cause enough to come here.
You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Paddling on Schoharie Creek is so much fun, and Mine Kill State Park is a picturesque location any time of year. The Catskill Mountains scenery is always pretty. This campground is so magnificent. Platter Kill is a delightful local stream, and since you're here why not explore Shew Hollow.
