This camp ground is one of the good spots to camp here in the Catskill Mountains. In New York you never run out of outdoors fun things. So many entertaining things in the Catskill Mountains, just inspiring. Get wet paddling on Schoharie Creek, and the peak of Bornt Hill can be seen from Nickerson Park Campground. There's more to do in the neighborhood of Nickerson Park Campground other than just hanging out such as hiking, whitewater paddling, swimming, |
and fishing, so you won’t get bored. Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and Nickerson Park Campground is a delightful local campground if you happen to be in New York. A number of people camp here to stop at close by Mine Kill State Park. Summer at Nickerson Park
| Campground arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. During the winter highs are typically in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Nickerson Park Campground temperatures drop to the 10's. This is such a picturesque campground. Visit Platter Kill if you're here at Nickerson Park Campground, and everybody nearby loves skiing at Ski Plattekill. a pretty lake, and you positively ought to pop by Max V. Shaul State Park if you're here. It's not possible to run out of fun things to do in the neighborhood of Nickerson Park Campground; when you're here you're always having a delightful time. Nickerson Park Campground is a very
well prized campground by the people of Grand Gorge. If you come at the right time of year, Bear Kill River offers some great whitewater, and a tremendous site to pop by nearby is Shew Hollow. Nickerson Park Campground commonly gets a lot of rainfall; through June this area
sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This campground is always a bliss. And that's not all the things to do here in the Catskill Mountains. Float down the rapids of West Kill River in a kayak; at Nickerson Park Campground you always meet someone from Grand Gorge.
