Mohawk Campground, Adirondack Mountains, New York   Ok, you've been cooped up too long, you have to get out, and Mohawk Campground in New York is such a good location. This is a great campground. Going for a hike on the Pharoah Mountain Trail is always a great adventure, and if you're here you can play some golf at Sunnyside Par Golf Course. Mohawk Campground gets a typical amount of rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is when it's the driest. Be careful coming to Mohawk Campground, you might not ever want to go home again. Don't leave Mohawk Campground without     first going for a hike along the Treadway Mountain Trail, and near Mohawk Campground you stumble on a golf course called Top of the World Golf Course. There's such a large number of things to do at Mohawk Campground including hiking, swimming, fishing, whitewater paddling, and playing golf, so it's just not possible to get bored. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Mohawk Campground. There is a brilliant hiking trail in close proximity to Mohawk Campground called the Spectacle Pond Trail. A campground like this is too great to miss. Here at Mohawk Campground you'll possibly meet some people from Diamond Point, and while you're here and you like golf, you can go to Queensbury C C Golf Course. That right there is plenty of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Adirondack Mountains has it   all. There are delightful sites to discover along the Berrymile Pond Trail; Beaver Pond is a great lake nearby. Hickory Ski Center has delightful slopes and a friendly staff, and Moreau Lake State Park is a magnificent place to go. A number of folks select this campground to be in close proximity to Moreau Lake State Park. Summertime highs at Mohawk Campground commonly tend to be in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Mohawk Campground are in the 0's. The pleasant pick of local attractions, and the close by outdoors recreation are perfect causes to come. The welcoming workforce and the splendid facilities are in themselves cause enough to come here. It's a good idea to have a look at Smith Brook, it's close to Mohawk Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Schroon River offers some pleasant whitewater. Be careful coming to the Adirondack Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Hudson River, and do schedule some time to stop at Orcutt Bay if you have a chance. Mohawk Campground is a very well prized campground by the folks from Diamond Point. There's glorious hiking along the Short Swing Trail, and don't leave without dropping by Saratoga Spa State Park. As long as you love the outdoors you will love New York. Mohawk Campground is one of the places to camp here in the Adirondack Mountains.
