The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Mexico Koa. Mexico Koa is a very popular campground with people from Mexico. Pack your tent and sleeping bag and get your motor running; Mexico Koa in New York is the outdoors at its most excellent. Dry Hill is a great local ski area, and you can run the rapids of Salmon River. Several people select this campground   for the purpose of being right next door to Selkirk Shores State Park. Just can't get enough of Mexico Koa. South Sandy Creek is a pleasant whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Mexico Koa. From a rain point of view Mexico Koa is a relatively normal site; November is the month that gets the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. Grays Millpond is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and sites like Southwick Beach State Park are wonderful to visit.
