From a rainfall point of view Macomb Reservation is a quite normal spot; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Macomb Reservation is a very popular old favorite campground among campers from Morrisonville. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Adirondack Mountains. The Silver Lake Mountain Trail is a tremendous   hiking trail near Macomb Reservation, and there are some good whitewater spots on Ausable River. This camp ground is located in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains. The workforce who's always there to assist and all the enjoyable things beat anything. During the summer highs here at Macomb Reservation get into the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Macomb Reservation. You just have to adore Macomb Reservation. Macomb Reservation State Park is a good place to go if you're at Macomb Reservation, and a lake close by is Davis Lake. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Whiteface Mountain, and there are plenty of folks from Morrisonville here. The surroundings of this campground have such a great deal of things to offer. Going for a hike on the Esther Mountain-Whiteface Mt. Mem. Highway is always a great adventure, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Salmon River.
