Taughannock Falls State Park is both fine and wonderful, and it's close to Long Point State Park, and   do have a look at Owasco Lake, it's a delightful lake. When you're here at Long Point State Park it's always fun to stop by Cayuga Lake State Park, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Gorge Trail. The warmest time of the year at Long Point State Park arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Long Point State Park are in the 10's.
