    Having a great time at Long Point State Park is simple. You can run the rapids of Taughannock Creek near Long Point State Park, and going for a hike along the Ravine Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Scores of people camp here to be right next door
to Taughannock Falls State Park.
You have to get out, and Long Point State Park in New York is a brilliant location to go. Some activities here at Long Point State Park are fishing, whitewater paddling, swimming, and hiking, so most likely you want to stick around for a while. This campground is a glorious site to take a look at. There's whitewater on Salmon Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Aurora here.
Taughannock Falls State Park is both fine and wonderful, and it's close to Long Point State Park, and
 
do have a look at Owasco Lake, it's a delightful lake. Coming to this campground is always a glorious idea. Long Point State Park is right by the Interloken Trail.
When you're here at Long Point State Park it's always fun to stop by Cayuga Lake State Park, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Gorge Trail. So many local attractions and such a vast number of things to do are sure to keep you coming back over and over. The warmest time of the year at Long Point State Park arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Long Point State Park are in the 10's.
Long Point State Park is a campground that is extremely liked by the people from Aurora. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Taughannock Creek, and hiking along the Burnt Hill Trail is delightful fun.
