There's absolutely no way to run out of fun stuff to do close to Lazy G Campgrounds; it's always fun to be at this campground. Camping in New York is such an enjoyable activity.
There is a pleasant hiking trail in the vicinity of Lazy G Campgrounds called the Vernooy Falls Trail; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Holiday Mountain.

| is a good golf course close by, and don't leave without visiting Minnewaska State Park Preserve. Go for a hike on the Kanape Jeep Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Neversink River.
At Lazy G Campgrounds during the summertime highs are in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Seager West Branch Trail which is a great hiking trail, and during your tour here you'll meet some folks from Mountain Dale for sure. The kind atmosphere and the multitude of fun stuff to do makes the spree here worthwhile.
Lazy G Campgrounds is a rather wet place frequently
with a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. A campground like this is too perfect to miss.
Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Lazy G Campgrounds.
A tremendous site like Lake Superior State Park near Lazy G Campgrounds is too delightful to leave out, and there are some great whitewater spots on Beer Kill River - West Branch. Ok, you've been cooped up for too much time, you've got to get out of the house; Lazy G Campgrounds in New York is a great spot to go.
