West Mountain are lots of fun; these ski slopes get an average of 7 feet of great snow every season. West Mountain has a nice 1,010-foot drop from top to bottom, and has 5 good ski lifts. The 124 acres of skiing land at West Mountain

is prized by skiers from far and near. West Mountain has 9% expert and advanced ski slopes and 91% intermediate or beginner ski slopes. There are 4 different ski lifts at Hickory Ski Center, a ski mountain having a delightful 1,280-foot elevation difference and 18 slopes. Hickory Ski Center gets an average of 3 feet of great snow per winter. 200 acres of skiable terrain is available to the skiers who appear at Hickory Ski Center during ski season; 50% of the slopes are easy while 50% are advanced and expert.
