This section of Black River is appropriate for whitewater boaters who   have been raft paddling for some time but who are not yet prepared for the genuinely perilous rapids. You should check the latest conditions before heading out; raft paddling may get perilous. If you are seeking a marina, A-Ok Campgrounds & Marina is close by, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Alder Creek. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Adirondack Mountains is excellent!
