There is a great hiking trail close to Kayuta Lake Campground called the Twin Lakes Trail, and Woods Valley is a brilliant local ski area.

There's whitewater on Woodhull Creek for all you adrenaline junkies, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Stone Dam Trail.
