is a pretty wet place generally with a good deal of rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; February is the month with the least moisture. This campground is a nice location to have a look at. If you come at the right time of year, Popolopen Creek offers some
tremendous whitewater, and if you're a golfer then a brilliant close by course is Bergen Hills Country Club. It's totally impossible to run out of entertaining things to do near Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds; what a pleasant place for camping it is. There are some brilliant whitewater
spots on Ramapo River, and the Woodtown Trail is a great hiking trail close by. The sights at Gateway National Recreation Area will blow your mind; a trip to Tallman Mountain State Park revitalizes the spirit. Coming to this campground is always a nice idea. There are good
sites to look at along the Conklins Crossing, and do visit Martins Lake, it's a stunning lake. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds. This is a popular spot for people from Pearl River; whitewater paddling is not for
everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Moodna Creek. Finally, the time is right for camping once more, and Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds in New York is such a pleasant place. A number of folks stay at Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds when going to Blauvelt State Park.
