Hiking along the Schwartz Trail is delightful fun, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Whiteface Mountain. If you come to this campground, you will have a delightful time for sure. High Peaks Base Camp is right by the Johns Brook Trail. An average amount of precipitation falls at High Peaks Base Camp; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Some activities here at High Peaks Base Camp are hiking, and whitewater paddling, so probably you want to stay for a while. It's just not possible to run out of entertaining things to do right next door to High Peaks Base Camp; it is a brilliant escape from the ordinary. What a place this is for outdoors people. Lewis Brook is a glorious location to check out, and Ebenezer Mountain is pretty and can be made out from here. High Peaks Base Camp is a top selection with the folks in Keene.
