| close by, and get drenched paddling on Esopus Creek. Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the amusing stuff you can do is swimming, playing golf, fishing, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so running out of amusing stuff to do won’t happen.
A day on the slopes of Hunter Mountain is just what you need, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Phoenicia Trail. Camping out positively is a great thing to do, and Hidden Valley Lake, New York is a splendid place for getting out.

time for sure. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rondout Creek; while you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Tillson. A spree to Minnewaska State Park Preserve when you're here at Hidden Valley Lake is
a glorious idea; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Stone Dock Golf Course is in the vicinity.

the highs are ordinarily in the 20's with temperatures at Hidden Valley Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
