Don't leave Fox Hill Camping Area without first going for a hike along the Northrop Trail, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on Kinderhook Creek. Summer at Fox Hill Camping Area comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Fox Hill Camping Area temperatures drop to the 0's. Good hiking is available along the Indian Trail, and if you come at   the right time of year, Konkapot Brook offers some great whitewater. Some folks stay at this campground to be in close proximity to Mt. Washington State Forest. The friendly reception and a nice variety of cool stuff are a brilliant attraction for a lot of people. Fox Hill Camping Area is a campground liked by folks of Austerlitz. There are so many exciting things to do near Fox Hill Camping Area, and it definitely is a great campground. There's so much stuff to do at Fox Hill Camping Area including swimming, hiking, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so probably you want to stick around. There's great hiking along the Elbow Trail, and the top of Beebe Hill is easily seen from Fox Hill Camping Area. The Wild Cat Trail offers hiking at its best. People from Austerlitz love to come to Fox Hill Camping Area; get yourself into a kayak and hit Bash Bish Brook. Fox Hill Camping Area gets a common amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
