This is the best campground around. I am from the Rochester area, and have camped at the Four Winds for the past three years. It is just beautiful. It a great family place, as well as romantic, and outdoorsy for just the two as well. Says Jackie

| Lake if you're here at Four Winds Campground; it's close by, and a journey to Silver Lake State Park is a great idea. The staff who's always there to help out and all the fun stuff have people coming here. You're sure to encounter some friendly folks from Portageville here, and Genesee River is a glorious whitewater spot nearby. Some people stay at Four Winds Campground for the purpose of being near Silver Lake State Park. is fine on Keshegua Creek, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Rolling Acres Campground & Golf Course. Four Winds Campground is enormously well liked by campers from Portageville. As long as you love the outdoors you will love New York. The
glorious local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation are great causes to come. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rushford Lake Outlet; a spree to Letchworth State Park when you're here is never a bad idea.
Hit the slopes at Swain close at hand, and it's a glorious idea to visit East Koy Creek. Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the enjoyable stuff you can do is whitewater paddling, playing golf, swimming, and fishing, so running out of fun things to do won’t happen. There
are so many entertaining things to do close to Four Winds Campground, and when you get to enjoy this place for a while you will feel like a different person. An average amount of rainfall falls at Four Winds Campground; during August this area sees the most rain, and January is when it's the driest.
