Elmtree Estates, New York Custom Search   Elmtree Estates is an old favorite with people from Frankfort. A campground like this is too fine to miss. An afternoon playing golf at Stonebridge Public Golf Course & Country Club is always a delight, and Pixley Falls State Park is a great place to stretch your legs a bit. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ninemile Creek, and when you're here it's always fun to visit Glimmerglass State Park. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, you've gotta get out; Elmtree Estates is a splendid local campground if     you happen to be in New York. A visit to New York is not complete without some camping. Do go to Wheelock Pond in the vicinity of Elmtree Estates, it's a beautiful lake, and do take a hike on the Forty Mountain Trail. Some nearby water includes Sterling Creek; a good place for whitewater paddling is Cincinnati Creek. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting things the area close to Elmtree Estates has to offer. The summit of Dutch Hill can be spotted from Elmtree Estates, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the California Trail. Here at Elmtree Estates there are plenty of folks from Frankfort, and you can run the rapids of West Canada Creek. Elmtree Estates gets a normal amount of rain; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.   If you love the outdoors, you won’t be disappointed; there's hiking, playing golf, fishing, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. And that's not all you can do here at Elmtree Estates. Fort Stanwix National Monument is a great site right next door to Elmtree Estates. If you're a golfer then a great close by course is Maple Crest Golf Course & Range, and Elmtree Estates is right by the Party Trail. There are so many exciting things close to Elmtree Estates; it is a fun place for everybody. All the good local attractions close by and the good variety of outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming back over and over. Famous New York generosity and the good facilities have lots of people coming here. Summertime at Elmtree Estates arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Elmtree Estates. This is a fine campground. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Woods Valley, and golf can be played at Doty's Golf Course.
