| | This campground has so much enjoyable stuff to offer. This campground is so magnificent. There's whitewater on Salmon River for all you adrenaline kick people, and Sandy Beach is reasonably close by if you're in a beach type of mood.
The staff who's always there to be of assistance and all the great passtime activities are a wonderful pull for a lot of people. If you wish for a little side spree, try Parker Rock; obviously, everyone loves Rocky Neck State Park.
There are some great whitewater spots on Hammonasset River; Stirling Basin is not far at all. |
The wonderful local attractions and the wonderful variety of outdoors recreation will make you glad you came.
If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Shelter Island Country Club is in close proximity, and don't forget to take a great little journey to Chase Creek.

a site with many visitors from Greenport. All the water falling down from the sky makes Eastern Long Island Campground a wet place; the wettest month of the year is commonly November, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture.
