Shaul State Park is a nice location to stretch your legs a bit. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Catskill Mountains. The Willow Trail is a fine hiking trail next to Doherty's Mountain Campground; if you're a golfer then a perfect close by course is Rainbow Golf Club. You imagine that's enough? golf is lots of fun at Sunny Hill Resort & Golf Course. The tremendous choice of local attractions, and the tremendous variety of outdoors recreation are nice motives to come. This camp ground is one of the brilliant sites to camp here in the Catskill Mountains. Outdoors
| recreation is bountiful, some of the fun stuff you can do is whitewater paddling, playing golf, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Basic Creek; Hunter Mountain is a very popular ski area around here. and during the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Doherty's Mountain Campground through the wintertime usually drop into the 0's. It's not possible to run out of exciting things to do in the
neighborhood of Doherty's Mountain Campground; if you're trying to find a magnificent location to go camping, this is a great selection. There is a perfect hiking trail close to Doherty's Mountain Campground called the Phoenicia Trail, and a round of golf at nearby Thunderhart
Golf Course is a brilliant way to kill some time. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Catskill Mountains will keep you coming back persistently. Doherty's Mountain Campground is close to John Boyd Thacher State Park which is a pretty place, and if the weather is great,
you can go for a hike along the Spruceton Trail. It's not possible to get bored in New York if you go for the outdoors. Coming to this campground is always a tremendous idea. There are plenty of people from Acra here at Doherty's Mountain Campground, and there are some perfect
whitewater spots on Catskill Creek. Doherty's Mountain Campground is a good site of normal precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is February.
