Cumberland Bay, New York

  If only every spot had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great world it would be. Whitewater paddling is nice on Saranac River; going for a hike on the West Shore Trail is always a brilliant adventure. This campground is so wonderful. Cumberland Bay State Park is both magnificent and pretty, and it's close to Cumberland Bay. The fine local attractions and such a fine variety of outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back repeatedly.
Cumberland Bay is an old favorite with the people in Plattsburgh. There's wonderful hiking along the Island Farm
    Nature Trail, and Cumberland Bay is in close proximity to Point Au Roche State Park which is a pretty spot.
High temperatures at Cumberland Bay during the summer months are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are
usually in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Cumberland Bay sink into the 0's. Ok, you've been cooped up for too much time, you need to get out of the house, and Cumberland Bay is a magnificent local campground if you happen to be in New York.
Ausable River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by, and why not a little side trip to Dead Creek. There is so much enjoyable stuff to do close to Cumberland Bay, and it is one of loads of magnificent campgrounds in this region. Don't leave Cumberland Bay without
 
first going for a hike along the North Shore Trail, and there are plenty of people from Plattsburgh here.
New York is a magnificent outdoors state. Coming to this campground is always a splendid idea. Cumberland Bay is close to Cumberland Bay and is a splendid spot to stop at, and a great location to go to is Gunboat Rock. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Salmon River, and there are glorious places to discover along the Southern Tip Trail.
Some people choose this campground for the purpose of being right next door to Cumberland Bay State Park. The caring ambiance and the great quality of everything here attract people from far and wide. The yearly rainfall here at Cumberland Bay is about average; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest.
As if Cumberland Bay wasn't sufficient, you can also go hiking, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
