Lots of folks stay at Cool-lea Camp in order to be near Finger Lakes National Forest. People from Alpine love to come to Cool-lea Camp; the Burnt Hill Trail offers hiking at its best.
This campground is so nice. Don't leave Cool-lea Camp without stopping by Finger Lakes National Forest; there's nice hiking along the Finger Lakes Trail. This site rocks, just explore
    all the amusing stuff to do in close proximity to Cool-lea Camp. If you come at the right time of year, Cayuta Creek offers some perfect whitewater, and there are great spots to discover along the South Slope Trail. This sector of New York is always a delight to go to during camping
season.
It's very unhealthy to spend too much time in the city; you need to get out sometimes; Cool-lea Camp, New York is a wonderful place for getting out.
Glide down the rapids of Taughannock Creek in a kayak, and you obtain a delightful view of Rogers Hill from here. A perfect location like Watkins Glen State Park close to Cool-lea Camp is too great to leave out, and don't leave Cool-lea Camp without first going for a hike along the Gorge Trail. Cool-lea Camp is a very popular old favorite campground among the residents of Alpine.

All through the summer months highs here at Cool-lea Camp reach the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 60's. Highs through the winter are regularly in the 30's, and overnight lows during the winter for Cool-lea Camp tend to be in the 10's. Looking for some flowing water? Try Cayuta Inlet, and Cool-lea Camp is right by the Potomac Trail. A campground like this is too nice to miss.
Cool-lea Camp gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; the month with most of the rain is June; the driest month is January. Some activities here at Cool-lea Camp are whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
