  This campground is so glorious. Lots of people from Alpine come to Cool-lea Camp; going for a hike on the South Slope Trail is always a splendid adventure. It's not possible to run out of fun things to do close to Cool-lea Camp; if you're searching for a great place to go camping, this is a great pick. Pack your tent and sleeping bag and get your wheels rolling; Cool-lea Camp in New York is such a great place.
The amount of rain that falls at Cool-lea Camp is close to the national average; June is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month
    of the year is January. You completely should like Cool-lea Camp. A lake nearby is Cayuta Lake, and nice hiking is available along the Burnt Hill Trail.
Some of the things you can do here at Cool-lea Camp are swimming, hiking, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored
is not something that is likely to happen.
At Cool-lea Camp throughout the summertime highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Cool-lea Camp. The tremendous local attractions and so many things to do are delightful reasons to come. Several folks stay at Cool-lea Camp to be in the vicinity of Finger Lakes National Forest.
Cool-lea Camp is a campground reasonably frequently visited by the folks in Alpine. The
 
welcoming environment and all the fun things to do have scores of folks coming here. Watkins Glen State Park is worth going to if you're at Cool-lea Camp; you can go for a hike on the Gorge Trail.
This campground has so many exciting things to offer. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cayuta Creek. Cayuta Inlet is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit; hiking is a popular thing to do around Cool-lea Camp; Potomac Trail is a great local trail. If the weather is gorgeous, you get a brilliant vista of Rogers Hill from Cool-lea Camp, and obviously, everyone loves Finger Lakes National Forest.
Don't leave Cool-lea Camp without first going for a hike along the Finger Lakes Trail, and a great location for whitewater paddling is Taughannock Creek.
