  I am in Binghamton and thgought I'd mention that there is a golf course on-site at Chenango Valley State Park, I see you mentioned a couple other ones, but you don't even have to leave the park.  Excellent course too! Says Steve

A splendid location
for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Chenango Valley State Park is Meshoppen Creek; don't leave without stopping by Bowman Lake State Park. New York has such a large number of things to offer nature lovers.
